Be bone clever with California Prunes

Did you know that California Prunes have been awarded ‘Bone Health Approved’ status by leading UK charity, the Royal Osteoporosis Society?

California Prunes is one of the sponsors at the ROS Conference 2023

California Prunes have been stamped with Bone Health-Approved accreditation by the Royal Osteoporosis Society

It’s all down to the links between the nutrients in our delicious premium prunes and the positive effects eating our purple wonders can have on skeletal health. High in vitamin K and a source of manganese, both of which contribute to the maintenance of normal bones, just a handful of California Prunes daily can contribute towards better bone health.

This week, the Royal Osteoporosis Society held its annual conference at the University of Manchester, bringing together a host of healthcare professionals to discuss the latest research on bone health.

As raising awareness of the importance of eating for healthy bones is a cause close to our hearts, the conference was the perfect opportunity for us to spread the word about the benefits of California Prunes! We were lucky enough to be a sponsor at the event and fly the flag for California Prunes amongst those in attendance.

California Prunes are a delicious and easy snack for anyone wanting to get bone clever. As well as Vitamin K and manganese, California Prunes also contain a range of other important vitamins and minerals like vitamin B6 and magnesium, as well as gut-friendly fibre.
