Prune, Peanut Butter, and Honey Sandwich
This Heritage Recipe was created by Clare Thompson, the daughter of Greg Thompson who represents California Prune growers
through the Prune Bargaining Association. Clare came up with this Prune, Peanut Butter, and Honey Sandwich when making lunch
for her dad and brother as they were headed out to put bees in the orchard.
Makes: 1Prep Time: 5 minutes
- Whole wheat honey bread
- Crunchy peanut butter
- California Prunes (pitted), cut in half
1. Spread peanut butter on one slice.
2. Arrange pitted California Prune strips on top and drizzle with honey.
3. Cover with a second slice of bread and enjoy!
