Granola Bites with California Prunes

INGREDIENTS

  • 200g margarine
  • 400g porridge oats
  • 50g pumpkins seeds
  • 20g chia seeds
  • 30g sunflower seeds
  • 70g walnuts
  • 5 tbsp honey
  • 150g caster sugar
  • 100g California Prunes
  • 1/2 lemon

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat your oven to 160°C and line a baking tin with grease proof paper.
  2. In a pan melt the butter, and in a separate bowl weigh out all the other ingredients.
  3. Pour the butter over the other ingredients and mix until everything is well combined.
  4. Place the mixture into a greaseproof lined tin and press down to make the surface even.
  5. Bake the granola bake in the oven for 35-40 minutes, then turn the oven off and leave the bake in the oven for a further 10 minutes.
  6. Allow to cool and then cut into 32 bite-sized squares.
