Acai Bowl with California Prunes

INGREDIENTS

  •  
  • Smoothie:
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 5 California Prunes
  • 1 cup acai purée ( or your choice of frozen fruit )
  •  
  • Toppings:
  • 2 California Prunes cut into strips
  • 1 tablespoon goji berries
  • 1-2 tablespoons cashew nuts
  • a handful of raspberries
  • pineapple slices
  • coconut shreds
  • mint leaves
  •

DIRECTIONS

  1. Pour boiling water over California Prunes and set aside for 5 minutes.
  2. Put frozen banana, hot California Prunes and acai purée into the blender and blend well.
  3. Pour smoothie into a bowl.
  4. Place slices of pineapple, coconut shreds,  California Prunes , raspberries, cashew, goji berries and mint leaves on top of smoothie.
  5. Serve immediately
