Sweet Tea Sandwiches

Stir chopped California Prunes and orange marmalade into yogurt, then spread on bread and cut into quarters for elegant tea sandwiches.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup (about 170g) pitted California Prunes, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons orange marmalade
  • 1 teaspoon grated orange peel
  • 6 slices white bread
  • 6 slices whole wheat bread

DIRECTIONS

  1. In small bowl, combine California Prunes, yogurt, orange marmalade and orange peel; mix well.
  2. To make sandwiches, spread 2 tablespoons of California Prune-yogurt mixture evenly onto one side of each white bread slice.
  3. Top each with one slice of whole wheat bread.
  4. Using sharp knife, trim crust; cut each sandwich diagonally into quarters.

 

Serving size: 2 sandwich quarters
